Tal Ranel-Cohen joined the firm in 1994, first as a student and thereafter as a law clerk and associate.
Adv. Ranel-Cohen handles a wide range of the firm’s civil practice. She specializes in complex real estate transactions and in the area of planning and construction. The United States Government is among the clients who have been advised by Adv. Ranel-Cohen during the past several years, regarding a long-term leasehold rights transaction, as well as in all matters related to the relocation to the U.S. Consulate, Adv. Ranel-Cohen has handled the planning procedures and Town Plan approval as well as negotiations with the planning authorities and Municipal entities.
In addition, Adv. Ranel-Cohen represents several investors, including foreign investors, seeking to advance significant construction plans and projects throughout Israel. In this regard, Adv. Ranel-Cohen manages negotiations with developers, representatives of the local authorities and the Israel Lands Administration as well. Adv. Ranel-Cohen has also participated in Administrative Petitions in matters related to planning and construction, in town hall hearings, and Appeals Committees.
Adv. Ranel-Cohen has considerable expertise in labor law, in representing numerous clients of the firm in the Labor Courts, and in consulting companies regarding human resources. Adv. Ranel-Cohen provides legal counsel to a number of foreign states in labor law issues, and has represented them in the Labor Courts on suits brought against them by former employees.
An additional field in which Adv. Ranel-Cohen specializes is Intellectual Property, including copyright and trademark laws. For many years, Adv. Ranel-Cohen has provided legal counsel to a leading Israeli production company, including drafting of contracts with third parties (broadcasting entities, creators, film funds, production companies, etc.) for the purpose of television and film productions, as well as contracts in the field of multimedia. She is experienced in securing licenses and purchasing of rights to various formats from international companies, as well as in purchasing the literary rights of well-known authors for production purposes.

Conducting negotiations for agreements between foreign developers, the Jerusalem and Tel Aviv Municipalities, and the Planning Authorities. Handling of Administrative Petitions and other Court claims against the Local Authorities.
Litigation in the District Court and the Trademark Registrar in matters related to breach of trademark, amendment of trademark, registration of similar trademarks, etc.
Litigation in matters related to labor law. Handling and conducting negotiations in complex real estate issues.
