E. S. Shimron, I. Molho, Persky & Co. is one of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in Israel. The firm was founded in 1953 by the late Erwin S. Shimron, who had previously served as the State’s Attorney General. The firm’s managing partner is Adv. Isaac Molho.

As noted above, the firm is managed by Isaac Molho, with the assistance of Advs. Orrin Persky and David N. Shimron. The firm has eight partners: Advs. Jakob Melcer, Dov Abramowitz, Shai Ganor, Michael Rabello, Tal Ranel-Cohen, Gil Ephrati, Yitzchak Goldstein and Rachel Shay.
In addition, it employs approximately 60 personnel, including twenty-five associates and ten legal interns.
The firm’s lawyers are of the highest academic caliber. Amongst them are those who have obtained their law degree and/or who are licensed to practice abroad, who have clerked for Israeli Supreme Court judges, who are members of the faculty or adjunct professors at Hebrew University Faculty of Law or other Israeli academic institutions, and who currently hold or have held senior positions at the Israel Bar Association. Notably, since 2007, the firm has been handling the largest corporate bankruptcy in Israel’s history. Adv. Molho was appointed as Special Administrator for the dozens of companies belonging to the Heftsiba Construction Group which were in bankruptcy proceedings and today are in liquidation proceedings.
This Group includes both public companies and reporting companies. The proceedings involve thousands of families who had purchased housing units in numerous projects throughout Israel. Adv. Molho, together with a team of partners and associates, has negotiated and facilitated arrangements with various Israeli banks, enabling the projects to be completed and apartments to be transferred to the thousands of purchasers who would otherwise have lost their investments. These activities entail numerous legal proceedings and lawsuits, many of which are quite complex and reach a scope of tens of millions of New Israeli Shekels each.
pursuant to Isaac Molho’s
appointment as Special Administrator,
has also been directing the management of Karta – Central Jerusalem Development Company Ltd. (in liquidation), which is the first governmental company in Israel to undergo liquidation proceedings. Under Adv. Molho and the firm’s handling of Karta’s management, the company’s property was upgraded and a tender was held for the sale of the Karta parking lot located in Jerusalem , where the long-term leasehold rights to the parking lot were sold for an amount upward of NIS 100 million (which considerably exceeded the appraiser's valuation of the property).
Outside of the legal arena, throughout the years since its establishment, the firm has maintained a close relationship with the various governments of Israel, while remaining firmly apolitical. From 1996-1999, Adv. Molho served as Prime Minister Netanyahu’s special envoy and as the Israeli Government's chief negotiator in the peace negotiations with the Palestinian Authority, under the auspices of the United States Government.
