David Shimron is a highly accomplished and respected practitioner in a wide variety of civil and commercial law practice areas. These include real estate, hotel development, energy and infrastructure, nonprofit organizations, public institutions, banking and commercial litigation.
David serves as a director and/or in an advisory capacity in several companies and nonprofit organizations and public institutions. Among others, he currently serves as chairman of the International Convention Center in Jerusalem (previously known as Binyanei Ha’uma) and legal counsel to Yad Vashem, Israel’s statutory Holocaust Rememberance Authority.
David has also served as a member of Israel’s Bar Association, National Disciplinary Tribunal and as chair of the executive committee of the Academic Center of Law and Business.
David has served as a consultant to various government appointed committees and on occasion represented the government in several civil cases.
David served as a legal counsel for the Likud political party. Inter alia, he represented the Likud party in numerous coalition negotiations for the establishment of the government, and he regularly represented the Likud in constitutional and administrative proceedings in the Supreme Court of Israel.
