Orrin Persky, a native of the United States, has lived in Israel since 1970. He joined the firm in 1973, after serving as a law clerk in the Supreme Court under the late Judge Yitzchak Kahan.
Orrin is widely recognized for his extensive experience in advising companies and foreign investors about investments in Israel, and advising institutions and foreign governments about activity and assets in Israel, biotechnology and R&D ventures, real-estate development and commercial litigation, banking, and intellectual property.
Orrin advises the firm’s clients on wills, estate planning and management, and trusts. He also represents several education and charity organizations.
Orrin has served as the deputy chair of the Israel Bar Association, as a representative on the Central Committee (National Council), and as a member of the National Committee.
Orrin served as chairman of the Israel Bar Association’s National Clerkship Committee for twelve years, and also served as chairman of the Forum on the Status of the Legal Profession, and as a representative of the Israel Bar Association in Israel’s parliament – the Knesset – on matters concerning that forum.
Orrin has taught in Bar-Ilan University’s Faculty of Law, where together with the faculty’s Dean of Law, he developed a course on legal writing and analysis.
