Advisement of LycoRed Group (part of Adama) on commercial matters

Advisement of LycoRed on an ongoing basis on a range of commercial matters.  Our firm represents the LycoRed Group of Companies, which comprises part of the Adama (formerly Makhteshim) Group of Companies, the world’s largest generic crop protection company. The Lycored Group of Companies is focused on the development, manufacture and supply of natural ingredient formulations and products for use in the food, beverage and dietary supplement industries.

Consulting to a groundbreaking scientific institutions

We act as counsel to Migal, an internationally-recognized research institute located in the Upper Gallilee, specializing in biotechnology and computational sciences, plant science, precision agriculture and environmental sciences as well as food, nutrition and health. Migal does groundbreaking scientific work, while providing a regional center for economic growth and technological education in the Galilee and Golan Heights.

David N. Shimron

David Shimron is a highly accomplished and respected practitioner in a wide variety of civil and commercial law practice areas. These include real estate, hotel development, energy and infrastructure, nonprofit organizations, public institutions, banking and commercial litigation.

David serves as a director and/or in an advisory capacity in several companies and nonprofit organizations and public institutions. Among others, he currently serves as chairman of the International Convention Center in Jerusalem (previously known as Binyanei Ha’uma) and legal counsel to Yad Vashem, Israel’s statutory Holocaust Rememberance Authority.

David has also served as a member of Israel’s Bar Association, National Disciplinary Tribunal and as chair of the executive committee of the Academic Center of Law and Business.

David has served as a consultant to various government appointed committees and on occasion represented the government in several civil cases.

David served as a legal counsel for the Likud political party. Inter alia, he represented the Likud party in numerous coalition negotiations for the establishment of the government, and he regularly represented the Likud in constitutional and administrative proceedings in the Supreme Court of Israel.

In the last edition of the Legal 500 in the practice area of Dispute Resolution in Israel, Adv. Shimron was recommended as 'A notable practitioner at the firm is David Shimron, who represents clients in civil and commercial litigation, as well as constitutional and administrative proceedings".
